The offering of this exquisite Triumph TR 6 is truly an unrepeatable opportunity.

From every aspect, the pre-unit 1956 Triumph TR 6 ranks among the very top motorcycles ever offered by this legendary firm.

The motorcycle is beautiful to the eye in its superb simplicity.

At the Amelia Island Concours in the spring of 2010, Triumph was the featured motorcycle marque. This spectacular Triumph won the first place trophy for the finest Triumph on the field.  Peter Egan was the chief judge for the class.

Several knowledgeable enthusiasts have examined the bike, know its history, and support the fact that the bike has less than 460 miles!

It has always had the benefit of good ownership hands throughout its life. It starts very easily and runs smoothly with 42 horsepower available for its 370 pounds.

Records show that only 314 of these TR 6 bikes were manufactured in 1956. I can’t imagine there is another TR 6 survivor from 1956 that would approach this Triumph.

At this very point in time, vintage thoroughbred motorcycles are rapidly becoming highly collectible as witnessed by RM Auctions, Bonhams, Mid-America and Mecum aggressively seeking quality motorcycles.

Already we have seen prices, justifiably, increase as thoroughbred motorcycles are just beginning to rise to their appropriate values.
